My mom was out of town yesterday for her big day. I called her while on my way to various Mother’s Day festivities and she was at her friend’s house on the patio drinking champagne. This assured me that I am growing up to be like her. Or maybe she’s becoming more like me as she ages. Either way, I think we’re finally learning how to meet in the middle.
