Wait, what?

Sometimes I feel like we have nothing in common, we don’t know each other at all, we weren’t even really put on the same earth by the same god. But at the same time I feel like there’s a hammock under the earth that’s protecting me. It really means a lot and that’s because of you and I’m grateful. I love you mom, I really, really love you. ~Girls, Hannah
My mom was out of town yesterday for her big day. I called her while on my way to various Mother’s Day festivities and she was at her friend’s house on the patio drinking champagne. This assured me that I am growing up to be like her. Or maybe she’s becoming more like me as she ages. Either way, I think we’re finally learning how to meet in the middle.
Last week, my parents were in Hawaii apparently getting drunk and talking about me.
It’s 9am on a Friday in Hawaii: Do you know what your parents are talking about?
